Julie Jones is proud to be one of 21 local artists selected to paint large oyster sculptures to be part of the Shell Art Trail. The Lowcountry Oyster Trail will help provide oyster preservation and marine ecosystem research and analysis.

In 2019, The original acrylic painting of Julie Jones was used on the back of a limited edition t-shirt for Hilton Head Island's most popular restaurant, Skull Creek Boathouse.
In 2018 Julie was commissioned to design and paint four original coastal paintings to be featured on the t-shirts of start up company, Coastal Town Apparel
In 2017 Julie's painting "Thirty Oysters" was one of 10 winning entries selected to appear on a billboard through ArtPop Street Gallery, a non-profit that promotes local artists and beautifies cities and streets simultaneously. Her art remained on the billboard for 1 1/2 years on Highway 462.
in 2017 Julie was honored to be named Artist of the Year by The Greater Bluffton Chamber of Commerce.
